Hawaii again??!!?
So, we went to Hawaii again! To Oahu over xmas, to Kona for Michelle's Uncle's bday party in January, then a jaunt to Kauai, and finally to Oahu once more.
We hadn't seen Wyatt in 6 months! So we were excited to see how big he had gotten.... er.. is he still the same size? I guess it's not for a lack of trying - Mmmm, forget the bread and jelly, just give me the pee bur on a spoon!
How bout some chips? How about I lie down and you feed me a squash/cheerio mix, Aunty?
Wash it down with a cold beer from Aunty Lynn -
No thanks on the water, mom...

November 2005
I've been harassed into adding another entry (by one of the two readers of this blog). So here it is - Thanksgiving!! a couple months late...
We went to Chicago to visit my folks - it was frickin freezin! Coldest weather in 20 years! So we walked around outside the whole time.
Lynn, Mom, Michelle and I walked around Marshall Field's, looking at the xmas windows. I call this photo 'the oriental'.
There's the bean in Millenium park - That's my favorite sculpture in Downtown Chicago (I only know of 2). Its real name is 'Cloud's Gate', but it looks like a 1 ton bean to me.
Hey kid, don't touch the bean!!!

October- China
Made my 3rd trek to China this year in October...
Stayed a week - here's my tips on enjoying your trip to China.
Tips:
1. Don't go.
Yes, not my favorite place. Too hot in the summer. Southern portion is not very interesting. If you don't speak Chinese, you are in trouble. Long ass flight. No egg rolls.
So if you do go, at least go via Hong Kong - Hong Kong has more to see.
There's my hotel in Hong Kong - Royal Pacific.
There was a pool across the way open at night - some sort of sports facility...
Everything is open pretty late - able to buy some dvds and shirts in Mong Kok around 11pm.
There was also some escalator thing that went through Hong Kong Island - pretty neat. I took it a little ways, but didn't know where I was going. People were probably wondering why I was going back and forth. Then took a ferry back for like a quarter. Skyline is nice - city is a little stinky though.
Hopefully my last trip - no more Burberry purses and Coach wallets for Mich.
More for Oct..

End of Sept
Went to Sacramento last weekend - oh yay, I'm in Sacramento - to see Mich's sister Leslie's Hula Recital. Had Kahlua pork, Poke, Chicken Long Rice, yum. Still don't understand who likes poi - we gave ours back, but I don't think they wanted it either. Must've been 1000 people at the dinner/recital, all wearing aloha attire..
That's my favorite and only Aloha shirt.
We also did a little shopping - Murphy is in his Halloween costume. Boy, does he love wearing costumes - looks really ferocious as a dragon. Grroowlllll.! Ooh, scary.
Okay, and no reason for this next picture, but I saw the weirdest bus/truck thing the other day on the freeway - you'll know what I mean when you see the picture... Not a good picture, but hard to take it while driving. Had to stop eating to take it. just kidding. I didn't stop eating.
And here is Mich's car, since it's the only car that hasn't made it on the blog yet. As one of our soccer teamates calls it, it's the 'Oakland Arrest Me' car (cause of the 18" rims).
Gotta go home and bowl. Peace out.

Fall 05
So it's Sept now, and soccer season is starting along with our new bowling league! Fun part was getting the shoes - I'm waiting on getting a ball and bag too....
There's Mich in her fancy shoes.
She actually beat me in the last game with a 130! Raised her average to 112 from 97!
There's me with another one of my many strikes!
Bowl-o-rama!
